(a) Any dance held in a public place requires a permit from the city.
(b) Permits need to be acquired from the city clerk 72 hours in advance of the dance, at no charge. The permit requires the name of the person responsible.
(c) No dances shall start prior to 8:00 a.m.
(d) Music and dancing will cease prior to 1:00 a.m.; provided, however, under special circumstances the governing body may extend the termination time to 2:00 a.m. The requesting party must obtain permission for such extension at least 72 hours prior to the dance from the governing body.
(e) The governing body has the right to refuse a permit to anyone.
